“Discover the Leader Inside of You!”

Join Team LCSO and our fantastic group of teen mentors from all over Lincoln County for a fun-filled week of summer camp. The camp activities will be tailored to help discover the value of working as a team to create an exciting future. This year we will be celebrating the 21st year of the LCSO Summer Youth Camp, and we are looking for the best of Lincoln County’s 5th graders to mold into the future leaders of Lincoln County!

This year’s camp will be an overnight camp and will run Sunday, June 4th-Thursday, June 8th.

Camp space is limited to 100 participants and will be open to all schools with-in Lincoln County. To be eligible for consideration your child must be a fifth grade student in Lincoln County for the 2022-2023 school year.

Once you have submitted the application you will receive information on the parents informational meeting to be held on May 4th. You will have the option of paying the $65 camp registration fee on line when you submit the application or paying in person the night of the parent informational meeting.  You will not need it when turning in the application. You must attend the parent meeting in order to secure your child’s spot at camp.

This year the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office will sponsor its 21st youth summer camp for 5th grade students, with the assistants of donations. This camp is designed to build confidence, self-esteem, social skills, and leadership skill building experience for your child through various activities.

This five-day long camp will be filled with instruction, fun activities, swimming, competitive events, and so much more. There will be a multitude of presentations and demonstrations displayed by members of the Sheriff’s Office among other Lincoln County Public Safety Agencies. These activities are designed to build leadership skills as well as individual life skills, and provides opportunities to foster your child’s confidence and demonstrate fun activities that don’t require the use of drugs or alcohol.

Camp space is limited to 100 participants and will be open to all schools with-in Lincoln County. To be eligible for consideration your child must be a fifth grade student in Lincoln County for the 2022-2023 school year, and will be required to adhere to a strict set of rules and guidelines in order insure the safety and wellbeing of all campers and staff. THE DEADLINE FOR APPLICATION TO BE TURNED IN IS FRIDAY, APRIL 21st or when all space is filled.
