Corrections
The Jail Division is responsible for the daily needs of pre-trial and post-trial detainees. Those responsibilities include: Daily hygiene needs, banking, food service, laundry service and medical needs.

Kitchen
The Sheriff’s Office contracts with Summit Food Service to provide daily meals.  Their purpose is to provide nutritional meals for the detainees that are incarcerated in the jail. Summit prides themselves on keeping down the overall cost of meals. They prepare three meals each day for every detainee. They are also tasked with complying with any special dietary needs.

Bonding
Bonding is done 24 hours a day, 7-days a week. We accept cashier checks only. Bondsmen are listed in the phone book for surety bonds.

Visitation
Lobby Hours for Visitation:
Monday thru Friday: 6pm – 10pm
Saturday and Sunday: 8am – 3:45pm

Please be patient while we are limiting crowds in public areas due to the COVID pandemic.

Inmate Mail and Books
Inmates may receive mail but only in the form of a postcard with the exception of legal mail.

Family and friends may purchase paperback books only for inmates; however, they must be shipped from a third party vendor (such as Amazon, Barns and Noble) directly to the Sheriff’s Office.  Please include the inmates name on the shipping label.
