Law Enforcement Operation in Progress on Winding Woods Drive – Public Safety Alert

Winding Woods, Troy, MO – 2 November – Earlier this afternoon, Lincoln County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a residence on Winding Woods Drive in reference to a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival at the scene, deputies reported hearing what they believed to be the sound of gunshots originating from within the residence. 

First responding law enforcement officers successfully evacuated two adult females from the residence, ensuring their safety. In response to the unfolding situation, a perimeter has been established around the residence.

At this time, a search is underway for an adult male suspect in connection with the ongoing incident. Law enforcement personnel from the Highway Patrol, Troy Police, the Moscow Mills Police and the Sheriff’s Office are actively engaged in ensuring the area’s safety and resolving the situation.

The safety of our community is our utmost priority, and we have taken immediate action to address the situation. We request all residents in the immediate vicinity of Winding Woods Drive to remain indoors and stay away from the affected area until further notice. Your cooperation is essential in ensuring the safety of all involved parties.
