Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an apparent murder/suicide

MEDIA RELEASE

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an apparent murder-suicide in unincorporated Lincoln County.

On May, 24 at 9:31 PM Lincoln County deputies were dispatched to a shooting at a residence in the 100 block of Chappel Hill Drive west of Troy, MO in rural Lincoln County. Two deceased adults were found inside the residence with apparent gunshot wounds. The initial investigation has revealed evidence of a murder/suicide. At this time, no additional suspects are being sought in connection to this case.

Lincoln County Sheriff’s Detectives and the Coroner’s Office are actively investigating. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
